Hebden Royd Mayor’s Civic Celebration – Sunday 8th October 2017

Last Sunday my Consort, Rachel and I went over to join neighbouring Councillors at Hebden Royd Mayor's Celebration of Hope, Reconciliation and Peace. Rushbearing visits Ripponden – Sunday 3rd September 2017

I had a lovely afternoon yesterday meeting the Rushbearing procession and attending the service at St Bartholomew's church. Before the service visitors and residents were kept busy with the annual Duck Race and a 'Hunt the Hamper' game - proceeds from which went to the Riverside Dementia friendly café.
