On Saturday 13th January, together with my Consort Rachel, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Thurlow of Barkisland who was celebrating his 100th birthday! Mr Thurlow was an avid golfer until his late 80's and this certainly helped him to stay young at heart!

Last Wednesday, together with my Consort, Rachel, I was invited to meet with residents at the Barkisland 'Get Together' club and share in their Christmas party festivities. There was a great atmosphere, lots of chat and super entertainment. I would like to thank the group for their kind invitation to what was a lovely afternoon.

Together with my Consort, Rachel, I had a lovely time visiting the St Bartholomew's Christmas Fayre on saturday. Stall holders were kept busy with lots of visitors and the atmosphere was very festive.
