The Parish Council is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Quality status under the Local Council Award Scheme operated by the National Association of Local Councils. The Quality Award demonstrates that the Parish Council achieves good practice in governance, community engagement and council improvement. The award remains valid for a four year period.
The Parish Council is once again hosting the Ripponden Christmas Lights Switch On event, this year on Saturday 24th November. The festivities will commence with a Family Carol Concert at St Bartholomew’s Church 4.30pm. Followed by the Lights Switch On ceremony 5.30pm at the Memorial Garden, Oldham Road.
