Civic Ball 2018

Thank you to everyone who attended the Annual Civic Ball at The Venue, Barkisland on Saturday 10th March. It was an excellent evening with good company and in such beautiful surroundings! A total of £650 was raised for the Chairman’s Charity which this year is - Local Community Groups within the parish.

100th Birthday Celebration

On Saturday 13th January, together with my Consort Rachel, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Thurlow of Barkisland who was celebrating his 100th birthday! Mr Thurlow was an avid golfer until his late 80's and this certainly helped him to stay young at heart!

Barkisland ‘Get Together’ Club Christmas party – 13th December 2017

Last Wednesday, together with my Consort, Rachel, I was invited to meet with residents at the Barkisland 'Get Together' club and share in their Christmas party festivities. There was a great atmosphere, lots of chat and super entertainment. I would like to thank the group for their kind invitation to what was a lovely afternoon.

St Bartholomew’s Church Christmas Fayre – 2nd December 2017
